Youth Program

Kids having fun!

Jesus loved the children, and we do, too. In fact, we have an excellent youth minister, Brandon Reeves, heading up our youth program who we have watched grow up in our congregation and develop into a fine young Christian man. He has a Masters Degree from Cincinnati Christian University and is very knowledgeable in the Bible. And a large portion of our budget and fund-raisers are expended on our youth. We make it possible for every young person to take part in every youth activity. We have a great youth program at Spring Hill with devoted teachers and sponsors working with our kids and our teenagers.

Youth Meetings
Youth Meetings for kindergarten through high school are held Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. Special activities and classes are held for pre-school through senior high students Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.

Camp, Conferences, and Gatherings
During the summer months, the youth attend camp at beautiful Butler Springs Christian Assembly. There are camp weeks for almost every age group including a day camp for the little ones to introduce them to the life-changing camp experience. There are adventure camps, basketball camps, soccer camps, and other weeks of camp with a Christian emphasis. Each camper experiences a spiritual adventure which helps him to better understand Christian values and principles important for happy living.

Junior high and senior high youth also enjoy activities sponsored by Christ in Youth (CIY), a national youth organization founded in 1968 by Bob Stacy, who is on our ministerial staff. CIY sponsors various work projects and conferences attracting thousands of youth from all over the United States. Mission trips are also becoming popular among youth and are sure to become a vital part of our youth activities at Spring Hill.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an important part of every summer at Spring Hill. It begins with a VBS Fair the Saturday before the actual VBS week begins. VBS includes a full week of Bible lessons, activities, crafts, games, and other interesting and fun features. All activities take place in the Family Life Center which includes a spacious gym and fully equipped classrooms.
