This important ministry grew from an annual budget of $16,000 in its first year of 1968 to a budget of over $1,000,000 in the twelve years that Bob served as their president. And the staff of CIY grew from three to over seventy in ten offices nationwide in that same period of time. Thousands of youth, parents, and youth workers were affected for the cause of Christ, and hundreds were recruited to Christian service. Christ in Youth conferences, crusades, and other gatherings attracted thousands of youth and influenced them to live for the Lord.
